It happens not all that infrequently that I create words that amuse me. Traditionally after I invent these words--these little drops of lexicographical genius--I will then OMGgoodle them to discover that I did not in fact create them at all and then I am sad for several days. This happened most recently with the word, "karmavore" which I thought was terribly clever and around which I was planning an ABC mini series until I searched and discovered that it was already in use by vegans who, as a group, really can't be trusted. So when I came up with "Illuminaughty" I decided rather than searching I'd just write it down in a comic and send it on to C for the art duties. I quickly received a call from him saying, "You know, other people have come up with this word, right?" At that point I wept openly and swore I would not stop screaming, "LA LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" until he made the comic. So he did and now it's above this post for all to read.

And that's why the pope apologized for the Spanish Inquisition.

Get a beverage of your choice and invent some words...and keep them
away from me.
