Today's guest artist are the incomprehensibly incomparable JadePrince and DustyJack—a very cool artistic duo that runs their own very cool webcomic Mahou Shounen Fight . For me, it was a happy break from three-panel gag strips.
A few weeks ago my brother watched Legion and because I never will I asked him the only question that mattered to me, “Why?” Not why did he watch it. That, too, was confusing, but I didn’t really care. No. Why did God feel like killing everyone again. I mean, there are a million reasons to scorch the earth, probably, but why now? And he said they never really addressed that in the movie. Which, to me, is kind of like leaving the iceberg out of Titanic. The thing sank for a reason and if we don’t mention why then it’s just a bunch of people going for a swim when they really shouldn’t aughtta.
So it got me thinking, what could we have done that’s worse than all the horror and torture and gruesome bullshit that we have been doing to one another since the dawn of humanity? Humans are bastard covered bastards with bastard filling. So why now? Why kill us all to death now? And then it occurred to me. The reason I would end everything: no more firefly. Makes sense to me. It’s all Fox’s fault. It makes SO MUCH SENSE.
