And now a few letters on Pirates of the Caribbean. WTF? A quick glance at Rotten Tomatoes shows the percentage ratings of the movies at 78, 54, 45, and 37 respectively--and I hate that I can't spell "respectively" without spelling "respect." I don' think RT is the end all be all, but you know what those numbers tell me? The movies are getting progressively and steadily worse. They traded the fun for weird and ripped us off in the process.

I've been kinda hoping that this one will be okay, mostly on the grounds that they seem to have ditched the most irritating characters and kept the good ones...on the other hand, I'm not certain I've even seen the fourth, so I guess they've got an awfully deep hole to dig themselves out of
