I don't want to go off on too much of a rant here, but I'm really tired of people who feel the need to "find" themselves. And I'm sick as shit of people saying things like, "You can't love someone else until you love yourself." But isn't loving somebody about putting their needs before your own, so what does loving yourself even mean? And why do you have to do it first?

It's like some dodgy salesman got his hands on an abundance of mirrors and he sold them on the cheap to everyone in our culture. Now we spend all our time studying ourselves and ignoring this massive playground called "the world."
