You know the Smurfs and the Navi have a lot in common. They're blue naturalists hunted down by greedy capitalists. They're wise and community-minded. But here's something else, the Navi were about to be destroyed until the bad ass American guy came in and saved them. Similarly, the Smurfs toiled away in obscurity in France until they were popularized by an American. Yeah, so essentially they both evince patriotism.

So why would they fight? I don't know. And why would a member of the Blue Man Group officiate? Again, I haven't the foggiest. I just wanted a dramatic shot for Joshua to bring to life, and this is the first thing that popped into my fucked up head. Deal.
