I understand making movies into video games. Instead of being a passive viewer, you get to participate. You take control of Indiana Jones or Luke Skywalker or Britney Spears--I just LOVE the Crossroads video game. I get that. What I don’t get is making video games into movies, especially in an age when our games are about as pretty. I mean, why watch Doom or Street Fighter when you could play them? Are we too lazy to play games or are the producers too lazy to think up original stories? I’m not hating on them. I’ve even heard that Resident Evil is a totally legitimate franchise. Of course, that might be that no matter how good our graphics are, they don’t match Milla Jovovich.

They’re going to make a movie of the things they find crawling around my brain, aren’t they?
