Today's guest penciler is Zack Gardener. The colors and chalkboard scrawlings were done by our mysterious friend known only as K. To see more of Zack's work, check out his webpage, where you can find all sorts of illustrations, graphic novels, links to other cool people, and his webcomic Conform.

I'm not a huge fan of NUMB3RS, I watched the first season and a half with my lady--long enough for me to point out how every episode some tertiary character from the B story says something that inspires an epiphany in Charlie that allows him to solve the case; long enough for my lady to point out that Charlie always discovers an anomaly that renders his formula incomplete; and long enough for my dog to get annoyed with how idiotic Don often is.

I'm not a huge fan of NUMB3RS, but I do like the show. And I do like the fact that a show about advanced mathematics was able to hold America's attention for six seasons. Not only that, but for at least the 1.5 seasons, they never found a dead stripper the way they do in almost every other detective show. In fact, I can't recall a bit of sex. Well done, somebody. Way to play to a higher common denominator.

Now let's multiply,
C
