This last weekend, my lady and I decided, for some reason, that we didn't want to connect to Hulu and watch quality moving images like Firefly, Dr. Horrible, or some other Joss Whedon something or another. Sure Hulu is free; sure we don't have to deal with other people; and sure it allows for the drinking of Tequila while singing along to theme music. But sometimes, we just have to get out of the house, lest we become like E. So we took to the cinema.

My lady and I narrowed our options down to Surrogates or Cold Souls. Either an action flick consisting of Hollywood types walking around in plastic bodies or a semi-artsy film consisting of Hollywood types walking around without souls. It's fucking odd the world we live in. I mean, you want to talk about art imitating life imitating art?

Ultimately, we decided on Cold Souls, so today's strip is again based entirely on a trailer for a movie. My lady and I would have watched Surrogates but couldn't stand the bizarre irony of vicariously getting thrills from watching a movie about disembodied people getting thrills. It's like the briefly extant Matrix video game.
