E and I came up with the script for this strip over the past few days, and spent hours and hours arguing about the blue French horn line, which I assured him no one would understand because I didn't understand it. So I googled it and discovered that it's a line from the pilot of a TV show called "How I Met Your Mother." I still don't get it. But E's the jam, and despite our portrayals in the webcomic, I'm really the idiot. So I went with his line.
Because of it's timeliness, we wanted to put a rush on it's production, so I found a South Park avatar creator and threw this baby together quickly. In creating it, I became really amused by the idea of such crappy art commenting on a movie as beautiful as Avatar. Irony abounds, people. It's all over the place.
